It is 5km long and 1km wide and has been a nature reserve since 1988. It is also a designated UNESCO biosphere reserve. There are some very invigorating walks in the dunes and along the beach. The peninsula of Howth Head is 7km away, and has breathtaking views of Dublin Bay and the East Coast.

Gleann-na-Smol is located in the centre of the village of Howth close to Howth Harbour and cliff walks. We offer a friendly warm and comfortable home with plenty of Irish charm.
